Groups and Model Structure
A group is an auxiliary function for operating SpeciesAlias collectively, in order to increase the efficiency of the edit work of a network diagram. group itself does not hold the logical positioning in a model.
Therefore, when a group is created and released, no change is produced in a logical model structure. It is considered that group operation is regarded as the collective and continuous operation conducted to the individual members of the group.
However, if this is said conversely, even if there is no logical positioning in the group itself, each member's logical condition may change by the result which operated the group.
For example, when a group is moved to the area where Compartment exists, the judgment of the inclusive relation will be performed same as the case where each member of the group is moved independently to the position respectively.
Moreover, when a group is deleted, this means that each member of the group is deleted. Therefore, if there is Species in which no alias remains in the model as a result, such Species will also be deleted simultaneously.
Therefore, in performing group operations, such as moving the position, modification, copy & paste, and deletion, bear in mind that you are logically operating each member of the group continuously and individually.
