    "Name of the species" dialog
  4. By default, Species ID (e.g., "s1") is displayed in the textbox. We recommend you to rename it to represent the physical entity of the species, such as "MAPK".
  5. You must fill in the textbox. You cannot leave the name empty.

  6. Click OK.

When you create a SpeciesAlias on the Draw Area, the Species logically related to it will be automatically generated and added to the logical structure of the model. You can check such Species in the Species list window.

If a new Species is created and given the same name as the existing Species, it will be regarded as the second SpeciesAlias of the same Species.

If you deselect Name Input Dialog in Edit menu, Name of the species dialog will no longer appear and the Species ID will be set as the default name.

If you select Input Repeat in Edit menu, you can place the same type of Species repeatedly. If you deselect Input Repeat, you can place a new Species one by one.
