A protein cannot be created independently. It is created indirectly and automatically through creation of SpeciesAlias.
To Create a Protein:
1. Select an icon [Protein] from the tool bar.
2. Specify the position you want to place the Protein.
The name inputted here becomes the name of Protein.
Caution: If you specify the new protein the same name as the existing protein, it is interpreted by the CellDesigner that the new alias of the same Species has been added.
All the protein created can be checked in the "Proteins" list window.
