To create a Complex:
1. Place the Species to be included in a Complex.

2. From the tool bar, select "Complex"in the "Species" icon pallet, name the Complex then place it over the Species.
3. Resize the Complex box so that all the Species are to be included.
When you create a complex, it will become a new SpeciesAlias.
You can check this in the Species list window. Check that the class becomes "COMPLEX".
Note: When you import the file created by CellDesigner 1.x, 2.x or pure SBML file, the name of the Complex will converted to "Complex(A,B,C,D...)" where A,B,C,D... represent the name of the Species included in the Complex.
To decompose Complex:
Simply drag the Species out of the Complex box.
Note: Complex can remain as a SpeciesAlias even though there is no Species inside it.
To change the representation of a Complex:
You can toggle the representation of a Complex between the full view and compact view.
Select the target Complex SpeciesAlias, then press [C] to toggle the view.

center: compact view, right: no border
