Copy and Paste SpeciesAlias

To copy a SpeciesAlias:

  1. Select a SpeciesAlias.
  2. Press [Ctrl] + C key, or select Edit + Copy menu.
  3. Note: When you copy a SpeciesAlias, the copied data will be stored temporarily in CellDesigner, so you can paste it at any timing you specified.

    Note: You can paste the SpeciesAlias to the different model.

To paste a SpeciesAlias:

  1. Select a position in the draw area.
  2. Press [Ctrl] + V key, or select Edit + Paste menu.
  3. Note: The SpeciesAlias pasted will become another alias of the same Species.

    Note: The notes of the original SpeciesAlias will be copied to the duplicate SpeciesAlias.(new in 4.0)

The reactions connected to SpeciesAliases:

  1. If you copy one of the SpeciesAliases connected to a reaction, the reaction will not be copied nor pasted.
  2. If you copy all the SpeciesAliases connected to a reaction, the reaction will be copied and pasted.
  3. Note: As the Reaction has no alias structure, whenever you paste the reaction, it will be a new logical entity.

    Note: The notes of the original Reaction will be copied to the duplicate Reaction.(new to 4.0)
